Purpose of Clinic

The clinic team assesses the prosthetic needs of children who have lost a limb, or are born without a limb and advises children and their parents or caregivers of the best methods of coping with these losses. Necessary training and therapy are provided to enable each individual to achieve optimum potential during growth and development.


Written referral by a health professional.


Every third Thursday morning.

Please bring all prosthetic limbs currently in use.

Medical and multidisciplinary services are available to children with varying physical and developmental conditions. A clinical nurse specialist is available to coordinate the services required by children with complex needs.
